MFI has launched a drive to build affiliates and start new ones!

If you want to help begin a new Affiliate, or be active in your local Affiliate, please read this information and contact the office.

Jeremy in the MFI office has re-organized this gateway to make this as easy as possible.

Frank Blankenship, Chair of the new Affiliate Support Committee, is ready to help support your efforts.

When we work together, our effectiveness takes a quantum leap forward!

Just look at how much MindFreedom Affiliates and Sponsors have accomplished recently!

  • Within weeks of starting, and with just a few members, the brand new MindFreedom Maine held a vigil at the launch of Kitty Dukakis's new book, and stood up for victims of forced electroshock.
  • MindFreedom Virginia is networking to raise awareness about the rapid erosion of human rights and civil liberties in that state.
  • Internationally, MindFreedom Ireland petitioned the Irish government to change their policy on forced psychiatric drugging.
  • Even in a developing country, MindFreedom Ghana in Africa has sponsored street marches for Mad Pride!

The problems facing human rights in mental health are world wide.

But some of the greatest opportunities to make a difference are found at home, in the communities we belong to and know best.

By forming or joining a MindFreedom affiliate or sponsor, we can support each other, and we can make an impact!
