Opal Network Info

Information about Opal Network, from most recent to oldest.
Opal Network is a way for all those who support the voice of mental health consumers and psychiatric survivors in Lane County to meet each "Fifth Tuesday" (which happens about three or four times a year). The network is named after one of Lane County's most famous authors, Opal Whiteley, who ended up locked in a psychiatric institution for decades. We are all Opals!

The "Opal Network" in Lane County, Oregon supports the voice and self-determination of mental health consumers and psychiatric survivors. All are welcome. Agencies involved with mental health, along with all interested mental health consumers and psychiatric survivors, are encouraged to send a representative.

A new alliance called the "Opal Network" has been launched in Lane County, Oregon to support the voice, empowerment and self-determination of mental health consumers and psychiatric survivors. All agencies involved with mental health, along with all interested mental health consumers and psychiatric survivors, are invited to this second meeting.
