"Brisbane Australia's first Walk of Pride, held annually in a few places in Australia and organised by the Association of Relatives and Friends of Mentally Ill and Queensland Alliance (a network body for Psychiatric disability groups). The point is to raise awareness, but all are welcome to join walk across Victoria Bridge from Southbank side at 3.30pm, Brisbane. I hope consumers will be in strong numbers, me amongst them helping support my large sheet banner with 'MAD PRIDE' on it in black and gold with smiley face!"
