Don experienced horrendous abuse in the psychiatric system including the infamous "insulin subcoma shock."
Don is now a psychiatric survivor who lives in Toronto, Canada. He is a radio producer, and a free lance writer and co-editor of Shrink Resistant: The Struggle Against Psychiatry in Canada (1988). Don, who describes himself as an "antipsychiatry activist," is a cofounder of Coalition Against Psychiatric Assault (CAPA) http://capa.oise.utoronto.ca.

The Progressive Radio Network produces the show along with several others from its studio in New York City. PRN was founded by radio personality and health activist leader Gary Null.
