With the theme “Occupy Normal: Life After Labels,” the 8 October 2011 MFI Live Free Web Radio show was a success. Participants in several “Occupy” events throughout the USA talked about how the mental health consumer/psychiatric survivor movement can play a supportive role.

Aki Imai is helping to launch the Boycott Normal Campaign.

Update:

The 8 October 2011 show was surprisingly great!

Joining AKI IMAI and KRISTA ERICKSON as guests, was Frank Blankenship from MindFreedom Florida, and Mary, an MFI member from Philadelphia. And callers from all over.

The question: How can the movement to change mental health help support the Occupy movement, and work together for major change?
