Article Schizophrenia & Natural Remedies - Withdrawing Safely from Psychiatric Drugs
Maureen B. Roberts, PhD, a Jungian therapist who is the founder and co-ordinator of the Schizophrenia Crisis Centre & Drug-free Helpline, outlines safe, natural, healing remedies for safe withdrawal from psychiatric drugs for patients labeled as 'schizophrenics'. Dr. Roberts recommends gradual withdrawal techniques, using orthomolecular remedies that replace neurotoxic drugs with natural alternatives, while restoring a more normal pH balance.

Dr. Dan L. Edmunds is a psychotherapist specializing in drug free relational approaches for autism and developmental differences and extreme states of mind. He is the founder of the Center for Humane Psychiatry, an emancipatory movement for human rights in the mental health system. Dr. Edmunds is speaking at the MindFreedom International protest of the American Psychiatric Association in Philadelphia on 5 May 2012.
