Young Man in Nepal Forcibly Restrained and Drugged

This folder contains information and photographs that were forwarded to MindFreedom. Akal was 21 when he was admitted to a mental health facility in December 2007. There he was chained to a bed and forcibly drugged. Thanks to the efforts of a concerned individual in Nepal, Akal is now no longer in this dire situation. (Please note that MFI has not had the opportunity to obtain independent verification of this story, which was published on the web 23 June 2008.)
