“The Right to Accommodations”

Wednesday

October 6, 2021

6:00-8:00 EST, 4-6 MT, 3-5 PT

Who is eligible for reasonable accommodations? What is a reasonable accommodation and how do you get it? What does an educator or employer or program manager need to know when granting accommodation? What can you do if your rights are denied? Do you still have rights if you live ina a congregate setting, like a prison, psychiatric facility, or homeless shelter?

Is your privacy protected? What about stigma and discrimination for those who might have an invisible disability? These questions and a number of others will be addressed by our distinguished panel with a discussion to follow facilitated by Jim Gottstein, founder of Psychrights.

Panelists:

Kathy Flaherty

Robin  Ann Jones

Each presenter will speak for 10-15 minutes followed by questions from the audience.
